Murder your self
I do not mean take your life
I mean kill your desires
I mean put your self underneath others
Allow them to put their boot on your desires' neck
The more you fall for its whims
The longer you stay asleep, unconscious, unaware

You stepping outside of the capitalist, do it yourself, consumer driven economy is only the first step
But before you can even take that, you have to recognize that you are in it
That you live to work to buy
And buy
And buy
And fill your life with things you do not have
And you will never have all you want
Until you decide that all you want is what you have

This is breaking your desire
This is gratitude
This is the slap in the face, the cold water poured over your comatose body
This is you looking in the mirror and seeing two: you, and your self

This is you realizing that you don't think alone
But you have a conversation with your self
A controlling, base power that tells you what you want
The more you abstain from this, the better off you'll be

You are not your self
So do NOT enjoy your self
Do NOT have a good time

Abstain from those things that immediately jump out at you, those things you crave
Experience the detachment from base desires
