My blood contains His Name
Every time my heart exclaims,
And pumps it through my veins:
Al-lah, Al-lah, Al-lah, Al-lah
And we're all made the same
Your soul is just as tamed
You can't see it for you're vain
You will same day feel the shame
And look into yourself
And see that you're to blame
And nobody else
People’s actions bring them pain
Inside of their shells
Though their faces remain plain
Their hearts begin to swell
While their consciences wax and wane
And they fall into the trough
The undertow takes them so low their arrogance washes off
They're all alone and vulnerable and can no longer scoff
Their lives are cut in half
Their sins piled before them,
They remember what they've done but about that they no longer laugh
Fun and games have burned their ways
And smothered them in the past
They should have learned before
But thought their end was just as vast
As was their beginning though this idea did not last
Now they stand before their Maker and the test that they must pass
In this world we're a piece of glass
Falling swiftly towards the ground that is the day of last
If we don't prepare we'll be left bare and face our fate of smash
In disobedience we paid and thought it was like cash
Disobedience is counterfeit and righteous acts came last
So one day we'll say we tried to pay but our money didn't pass
When all along we knew right from wrong but chose to forge the cash
We laugh and play and spend our days forgetting God is hearing
When we surely know the best quality is to be God fearing
God protect us all and save us from the end that’s nearing
Ameen
